Mathilde’s areas of interest include using her musical talent and teaching skills to expand the skills of her piano students. She enjoys developing curriculum in the area of music theory and piano. One area of focus is creating piano curricula for Indian students whose background does not traditionally include western music and the piano. While teaching piano in India, many of her students participated in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and earned up to grade 8 in the ABRSM examination. Mathilde always seeks opportunities for new and educational projects for all her students. She currently teaches privateley in London, UK, at home and student's home.

In her leisure time, Mathilde enjoys reading, juggling, playing the trombone and travelling the world.
